Scripture to Read: Colossians 1:13–14
The fullness of what Christ has done for us must constantly be on our minds so that we are not distracted or deterred by the enemy's lies. We read in Colossians 1:13–14, For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. We must recognize that the first “He” mentioned in Colossians 1:13 is a reference to God the Father. This is just another great reminder that God is Three, but He is One. So, God the Father is the One who “transferred us” into the kingdom of Christ, His Son. When God says He has “transferred us,” it means that positionally we are already there with our Lord, for our lives are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), even though physically we are still here on earth. God says it this way in Ephesians 2:6, and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Notice that we’ve already been seated with Christ as His children. The references to Christ being seated at the right hand of God the Father are great reminders of His majesty and glory (Psalm 110:1, Luke 22:69, Acts 7:55, Romans 8:34, Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 8:1, Hebrews 10:12, Hebrews 12:2, 1 Peter 3:22). The Good News is that we will also share in the fullness of His glory one day because of our redemption through Christ.

· How will you live your life now that you know that you are already seated with Christ positionally?
