Scripture to Read: Psalm 128:4
Men of God are in the minority in this country; sadly, the same holds true in most churches across this country. God is calling men to die to themselves, surrender to Him, fear Him as their God, Lord, King, Master, and Savior, and passionately pursue Him and His Word daily. For men to be blessed, they must first learn to fear God above everything and everyone else. God says this in Psalm 128:4, “Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.” So, God has made it clear that everyone who fears Him will be blessed, but it’s the men whom God is calling to lead out in this call from Him. Too many men have bought this world’s lies that manliness is based on worldly power, prestige, possessions, trophies, and anything else they think they must have to be manly. Real men of God, though, are servants of our Lord, choosing to walk in humility, willingly crucifying their fleshly desires daily, passionately pursuing their fellowship with our Lord and His Word daily, and investing their lives well into their families, co-workers, and friends. For families, churches, communities, and even this country to be transformed, the hearts of men across this country must be broken over their sins, and all men must willingly repent (turn away from this world and turn to God) to fear God the way God intended. God wants to bless everyone, but His blessings will continue to be held back by Him as long as people choose this world over Him—may an awakening come!!!!
