Day 7

Scripture to Read: Romans 8

Today is our final devotion on “multiplication.” We already know how important prayer is to our lives and to carrying out the ministry of “multiplication.” There are many Scripture verses on prayer. God’s Word tells us what prayer does for us and reminds us to pray. As we read Romans 8:26, God tells us that prayer is difficult for all of us. Most believers feel inadequate in praying. Some believers are even afraid of praying out loud for fear that others will think they’re weird and weak because of what they prayed. The good news that God shares with us in Romans 8:26–27 & Romans 8:34 should help us all overcome our fears of asking our Lord for what we need, especially in fulfilling the ministry of “multiplication. Now, we know God is One and that He is present as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though that is hard for us to grasp, nevertheless, we know it’s true. So, God clearly tells us what He wants us to know about prayer in Romans 8:26–27 and Romans 8:34. Every time we pray to our Heavenly Father, He hears us, understands what we’re trying to say, and what we need. He loves for us to come and join Him in prayer, knowing that God the Son and God the Spirit are continually praying with, for, and through us to God the Father. When we join the Son and the Spirit in prayer, in the presence of the Father, we can know that we are right where God desires us to be.

Challenge & Application

· What was the most encouraging thing God taught you today about prayer and fulfilling the ministry of multiplication? · How will you apply what God has taught you, and how different will your prayer life look now that you know what God has shown you?

Don’t forget to pray using the A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) method!

We take the gospel to engage the lost where we live, work, and do recreation. As we see people come to know and follow Jesus, we invite them on the journey of discipleship to be disciples who will make more disciples.” T...

Day 3

We must fully realize God has called us to “multiplication.” As we share Him with the lost, God chooses to use us to transform their lives as they cross over from death to life. As we see lives transformed, the “multiplication” of His fruit coming forth is awesome! Because He’s called us to “multiply,” we should be further motivated to join H...

Day 4

But if we are going to fulfill the ministry of “multiplication,” we must believe that lost people NEED Jesus Christ. In John 17, our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to God the Fathe...

Day 5

As God uses us in the ministry of “multiplication,” there are times that we become a little fearful of sharing Christ with those we know who need Christ. But God does not want us slowed down and stopped by fear. God has given us some good news in His Word to be able to overcome all fear so that we fully carry out the ministry of “multiplicati...

Day 6

As we continue to focus on the ministry of “multiplication,” we know prayer has to be a vital part of each day of our lives. God wants us in an attitude of prayer at all times to carry out the ministry of “multiplication” through His guidance in our lives. Prayer is similar to the way we use our cell phones. We constantly text, answer calls, ...
