Day 3

Scripture to Read: John 16

We must fully realize God has called us to “multiplication.” As we share Him with the lost, God chooses to use us to transform their lives as they cross over from death to life. As we see lives transformed, the “multiplication” of His fruit coming forth is awesome! Because He’s called us to “multiply,” we should be further motivated to join Him in praying for those who still do not know Him yet. As we pray, we need to thank Him by praying John 16:8–11, which says, And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. The “He” in John 16:8–11 is God the Holy Spirit. So, even right now, the Holy Spirit is convicting all lost souls concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. We must thank our Lord that He’s doing this incredible work in each lost soul on the face of the earth. We must also ask Him, according to Colossians 4:3–4, to open up opportunities for us to share His gospel with these lost souls so that we may speak to them the mystery of Christ and make the gospel clear in the way we ought to speak. God wants to use us in the ministry of “multiplication,” so let’s join Him in what He’s already doing and share Him boldly.

Challenge & Application

· What are some ways you have seen God work in the lives of lost people that you know? · How will you change the way you pray for your lost family and friends and for yourself as you know God wants to use you?

Don’t forget to pray using the A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) method!

Day 1

God has us focused on “multiplication” this week. As we learned last week, God has designed us to invest in others so that His fruit is multiplied in us and through us. Day 2

On our Highview website, we read that “multiplication” involves us “seeking to multiply our lives and the gospel in others. We take the gospel to engage the lost where we live, work, and do recreation. As we see people come to know and follow Jesus, we invite them on the journey of discipleship to be disciples who will make more disciples.” T...

Day 4

As followers of Christ, we know God loves us and that He gives us His incredible grace, mercy, and forgiveness (Ephesians 2:4–7, Colossians 1:13–14, Colossians 2:13–14). But if we are going to fulfill the ministry of “multiplication,” we must believe that lost people NEED Jesus Christ. In John 17, our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to God the Fathe...

Day 5

As God uses us in the ministry of “multiplication,” there are times that we become a little fearful of sharing Christ with those we know who need Christ. But God does not want us slowed down and stopped by fear. God has given us some good news in His Word to be able to overcome all fear so that we fully carry out the ministry of “multiplicati...

Day 6

As we continue to focus on the ministry of “multiplication,” we know prayer has to be a vital part of each day of our lives. God wants us in an attitude of prayer at all times to carry out the ministry of “multiplication” through His guidance in our lives. Prayer is similar to the way we use our cell phones. We constantly text, answer calls, ...

Day 7

Today is our final devotion on “multiplication.” We already know how important prayer is to our lives and to carrying out the ministry of “multiplication.” There are many Scripture verses on prayer. God’s Word tells us what prayer does for us and reminds us to pray. As we read Romans 8:26, God tells us that prayer is difficult for all of us. ...
