Scripture to Read: Hebrews 8:12-13
God is so incredibly gracious and merciful to us, every day of our lives. God lovingly reminds us to- day that He is not only merciful toward all our sins, BUT he remembers our sins no more. The problem for most believers is that it’s hard for us to imagine God wiping all our sins away and not remembering any of them. But the awesome news, for every follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, is that God the Father has wiped our slate clean, and He sees us as holy, righteous, blameless, clean, pure, white as snow, and as His children. Knowing what God has done for us, through our Lord Jesus Christ, ought to cause us to be joyful every single day of our lives. But we, as human beings, seem to linger in our past and when we do, we miss out on the joy and peace that are found in Christ. God does not want us wonder- ing if we are right with Him. He wants us to know that
in Christ, we are right with Him. God says it this way
in Colossians 2:13-14 “When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 having canceled out the certifi- cate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” We need to KNOW what God has done through Christ and rejoice, thank Him, and share this great news daily.
