Day 6

Scripture to Read: Exodus 39:1–31

In Exodus 39:1–31, we find how Bezalel and the craftsmen made the holy garments for Aaron to wear while ministering in the Holy Place, just as the Lord had commanded Moses. Each piece was made exactly according to the specifications God had laid out. Everything had to be just as God commanded for Aaron and his sons to be able to minister in the Holy Place because they were entering into God’s Tabernacle. We have so much to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for because, as His children, we are in God’s presence at all times. God has chosen to live in us (Ephesians 4:30, 1 Corinthians 6:19–20), and His throne room of grace is open to us at all times. God reminds us of what Christ has done for us in Hebrews 4:14–16, “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Because of Christ, we have the privilege of fellowshipping with our Creator and as we do, we receive the fullness of His grace and mercy for every need in our lives. Let’s not miss out on what we have through Christ to fellowship with Him daily.

Day 1

God had spoken to Moses for another forty days and nights on Mount Sinai. God loves when we serve Him wholeheartedly, giving our all and holding nothing back, neither in our time, talents, or resources; that is exactly what we see the Israelites do in Exodus 36:1–7. The skilled laborers God provided started their work on the Tabernacle using all the materials the Israelites had brought. But what’s interesting is th...

Day 3

God had called out Bezalel and Oholiab and every skillful person in whom He had put the skills and understanding needed to know how to perform all the work in constructing the Tabernacle. God gave these skilled laborers everything they needed to fulfill all the Lord commanded. God still does the same thing today. God tells us in Ephesians 4:1...

In Exodus 37:1–29, God used Bezalel to build the Ark of the Testimony, the Table of Showbread, the Lampstand, and the Altar of Incense. Each of these articles was made exactly according to God’s specifications that He had initially given to Moses. No detail was left undone. God has always been and will always be a God of specifics and detail....

In Exodus 38:1–23, God used Bezalel to build the Altar of Burnt Offering, the Laver of Bronze, and all of the curtains for the Outer Court. But we know Bezalel did not work alone, for God tells us in Exodus 38:21–23, “This is the sum of the things for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony, as counted according to the command of Mose...

Day 7

As we prepare for worship with other believers today, we find ourselves at the end of Exodus 39. God tells us in Exodus 39:32, “Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was completed; and the sons of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did.” Then, God says it once more in Exodus 39:42–43, “...
