Scripture to Read: 2 Corinthians 9:1-10
As we finish this week, we have seen how God has created us to help multiply His Kingdom for His glory. Today we find the godly principle that God will multiply His seed of righteousness through us as we serve Him. We must remember that if someone does not invest daily in their walk with our Lord, that person will not have much to reap in and through their life. It’s like the farmer who only casts a few seeds in his field. His crop is going to be very small. But if we passionately pursue our intimacy with our Lord and His Word every day, then we will be walking in the fullness of Him and not our fleshly nature. We will also see His fruit coming forth more readily from our lives because we are choosing to be obedient to Him and His Word. We have to decide in our hearts how we will invest our time each day for us to grow in Christ. We also must decide each day how we will invest in others who do not know Christ and in those who do know Christ as we make disciples of Christ. God gives us all we need because He lives in us. God is the One who provides us with His Spirit, so we have His power, His confidence, His love, His joy, and on and on so we carry out all He has for us to accomplish while we’re here on earth. Let’s not lose heart as God says in Galatians 6:9, for the harvest will come.
