Day 6

Scripture to Read: 1 Corinthians 15:24–28

God had Paul explain not only Christ’s resurrection and the glorified bodily resurrections of all the saints but also revealed what will happen after the glorified bodily resurrections. We read in 1 Corinthians 15:24–28, “then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, ‘All things are put in subjection,’ it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. 28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.” We know that God is One and He’s manifested Himself as Father, Son, and Spirit. When God’s plan is complete, Christ will hand over the kingdom to God the Father. But first, Christ will obliterate all rulers, all powers, all of the world forces of this darkness, and all of the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The last enemy that Christ will annihilate is the enemy of death. The reason is that God the Father placed everything in subjection under Christ’s feet. Therefore, when all things are subjected to Christ, then Christ will subject Himself to the Father so that the Father is supreme over all.

Challenge & Application

When God’s perfect plan comes to completion, what will Christ do to solidify God the Father’s supreme rule? How are you preparing for the completion of God’s perfect plan?

We read in 1 Corinthians 15:15–17, “Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 F...

If ...

Day 7

God had Paul deal with a somewhat mysterious subject, for we read the following in 1 Corinthians 15:29–34, “Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them? 30 Why are we also in danger every hour? 31 I affirm, brethren, by the boasting in you which I have in ...
