Scripture to Read: 1 Corinthians 15:10–11
God always provides His good news throughout His Word. We read in 1 Corinthians 15:10–11, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.” It is only by God’s grace that Paul was called to be an apostle and that every Christian on the face of the earth is called to be a child of God. The sad news is that God’s grace often yields zero results for many. Too many people over the years (and many today) continue to live only for themselves and refuse to surrender to Christ as Lord. But for us who know Him and walk with Him, we must continually live our lives fully sold out to Him. We must make sure that we labor daily for the souls of the lost, praying for them and loving them enough to share the life-changing message of our Lord Jesus Christ with them. God allowed Paul to share how the grace of God in him gave him all he needed to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. When we understand the precious gift of God’s amazing grace then we too will wholeheartedly serve our Lord and live our lives in a manner that glorifies Him. Our life’s goal should continually be to share Christ with others and to honor Him in all we do and say.
