Family Dedication

We believe that children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3) and are given to parents with the command to teach them diligently to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength and to obey all that He has commanded (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Family Dedication is a time for parents to publicly affirm their commitment to raise their child in a home that seeks to know and follow Jesus. It is also a time for the church to commit to join and partner with them in this intentional act of discipleship through faithful prayer, support, and encouragement as parents spiritually lead their families.

Family Dedication at East Campus | August 24-25, 2024

We invite members of Highview who desire to dedicate their child(ren) to join our East Campus Staff for a dinner on August 24, 5:30-7pm, in the Lower Level as we set aside an intentional time to gather together and remember what a tremendous privilege and responsibility we are called to in leading our children to know Christ. Following the dinner Saturday night, our families will be presented and prayed over during our Sunday morning worship service the next day. Childcare will be available. Registration is required.
