Biblical Counseling and Discipleship Training
We desire to see strong, healthy disciple makers equipped to accomplish the work of the ministry—both inside and outside of the church. The Biblical Counseling and Discipleship Training will equip participants to be stronger disciple-makers, giving them confidence to use the wealth and sufficiency of Scripture to comfort and encourage others biblically through life's challenges. Come and see how God can use you to minister biblically to others!
For the 2025 calendar year, we are revamping the training schedule to allow for greater participation across campuses. The training is in two parts: individual work completed on your own time and monthly group meetings on Saturdays during the school year. We use the "Change That Sticks" course from Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center as the framework for the training. Individual work includes watching videos and completing questions in a workbook. The individual portion serves as preparation for fruitful interactive discussion and presentations at the Saturday gatherings.
Details:
• The cost is $35 for the entire course and pays for the workbook and video access. You may order and pay online with this registration.
• New trainees can join at any time, but we ask that you avoid attending a Saturday meeting without completing the prep work. Register online so that Ruth McCoy can connect with you and provide instructions on which videos and workbook questions to complete.
• Group meetings will take place at Fegenbush Campus – 7711 Fegenbush Lane.
