An invitation from Pastor Aaron:
When I was a kid, one of my favorite Christmas memories was the way we read about Jesus’ birth together as a family. We read about Mary, about Joseph, the angels, and the wise men. Each child took a turn, and between readings we would sing a song specifically coming out of that particular section in Luke 2. This year has been challenging in so many ways, and hosting in-person Christmas Eve would bring many complexities to maintain capacity restrictions. So instead I want to invite you to worship with my family--in your own living room! On the morning of December 24, we will release a Christmas Eve service right here on our website, on YouTube, and on Facebook. Join me and my family as my children read the story and Pastor Isaac leads us in worship. You have all kinds of freedom for how you want to make it special for your family. Choose whatever time of day works best for you to worship. Grab some candles for the singing of Silent Night. You can wear nice Sunday clothes or flannel Christmas pajamas. However you feel comfortable, this is about taking time to pause in our world-weariness and to respond to the Good News that Jesus has come!
