Van Thompson is our Pastor of Care at East Campus, providing counseling services to our members and those in need. Van serves in this role bi-vocationally, working full time for a local manufacturing company in addition to his work for the church. He and his wife Stephanie, along with their two children, previously served in the college ministry at Highview. Van was valedictorian of his graduating class at Campbellsville University in 2004, and earned his Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015. Additionally he is certified as a biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He loves reading, exercising, and spending time with his wife and family.
